# Online Appeals – Evidence Type Editor Settings

Add/Remove evidence types to display in a drop down menu for taxpayer evidence file uploads.

If the evident type setting is turned on under general settings, taxpayers will be required to label their uploaded evidence files with one of the evidence type labels.
