# Resetting a password for the Taxpayer

### BIS Admin Panel - Resetting a password for a Taxpayer

##### 1. Accessing the BIS Admin Panel

- Log in as a CAD admin user.
- Navigate to the user's list in the admin panel.

##### 2. Finding the Taxpayer

- Search for the taxpayer by name or email address.
- Click on the taxpayer's name to view their information.

##### 3. Resetting the Password

- On the general information page, choose to
  - Send the taxpayer a password reset email for self-reset.
  - Use the reset password button to manually reset the password as a CAD admin.
