Taxpayer Appeals – Navigating the “My Appeals” Page #
Objective: To effectively manage and track current year appeals on the My Appeals page, including viewing summary details, submitting appeals, and withdrawing appeals if needed
Key Steps: #
- Open the My Appeals page to view a grid with summary details of all current year appeals.
- Click on the property ID to open the property detail page for further information.
- Check the Settlement and Waiver column for any submitted settlements and waiver offers from the appraisal district.
- Verify the status of your appeal – “Submitted” if completed and submitted, “Pending” if still in progress. “Pending” appeals are incomplete and have not been submitted to the appraisal district.
- Monitor the workflow status to see the current state of your online appeal.
- Review the Mailing address and CITUS address if available.
- Click the “view” button to access appeal details, including appeal notice, evidence files, and hearing information.
- Withdraw appeals if needed by clicking the Withdraw button on open appeals with the Appraisal District.
