Open And Close Dates #
- Open Appeal Date – enter open appeal date format example: 04/01/2024. Open date indicates the date online appeals functionality becomes active which includes the following: filing appeals, online scheduling/rescheduling, uploading evidence, withdrawal of appeals, acceptance/rejection of settlement offers.
- Close Appeal Date – For Harris PACs Client, enter statutory close date or close date for first notice run. Additional notice runs will still be able to protest based off the notice deadline date in in PACss. For non-Harris Cama clients (SWD, P&A, Capitol) enter the deadline date for all accounts, this will close your online portal and prevent further submissions after this date.
- Online Appeals Functionality is Inactive. (check Box) this will effectively shut down your online appeals portal and not allow any actions to take place online.
- Online Appeals is inactive but allow some functionality when a hearing is scheduled. (check box) For Harris clients, hearing date is the cutoff for the following functionality: online rescheduling, uploading evidence, withdrawal of appeals online, acceptance/rejection of settlement offer.
Site URLs #
- Change Address URL – enter url for change of address form if available on CAD website. This will generate a change of address button in step one of the filing window for the taxpayer and will redirect them to the Client’s change of address form in a new browser tab
Waiver Value Check (Stand Alone Clients Only) #
- Enable waiver Thresholds – True/False
- Waiver percent Max – enter maximum percent difference in value allowed for waiver to be created without admin approval.
- Waiver Percent Min – enter minimum percent difference in value allowed for waiver to be created without admin approval.
Misc Settings #
- Stand Alone Mode – True/False (False for all Harris PACs cama clients)
- Register with Owner ID instead of E-file Pin – True/False
- Stand Alone Mode with Manual Waivers – True/False (False for all Harris cama clients)
- Show Disclaimers – True/False enables disclaimer popups for taxpayer appeals filing prompts. (Disclaimer fields editable in Disclaimer Settings menu)
- Pin Field Name – edit pin name specific to client or to match the appraisal notice. Ex: E-File Pin
- Is Estimated Value Mandatory – True/False makes Taxpayer opinion of value a required field when filing appeal.
- Phone number for phone hearing – True/False turns on/off the phone number text box for taxpayer phone number.
- User Comments off – True/False turns on/off comment feature for taxpayers in the taxpayer appeals portal.
- Show Possible Requests for Evidence – *True for All clients –and not editable by client
- Send Summary Emails – *True for All clients –and not editable by client
- Allow Manual appeal Hearing notification upload – True/False (Stand Alone Clients Only)
- Show Client Property Notice Values – True/False turns on/off the notice value field on the online settlement offer.
